The sky once smiled upon an earth
Blessed by your tender presence
And now we look to the same sky
As we wonder why?
A river cried below
A mountain of grief
But through this all

Simply by knowing you

Just a short while ago I was sitting and waiting at the doctor's office (turns out I have sinus infection - I got me some meds) and I started to think about the young woman who passed away, 
And these brief words came to me. I hope you will read them and visit her site to pay respects.
It also reminded me of another poem I wrote last year when I learned that a good friend of mine lost her daughter in an automobile accident. That poem is called "Hello Again" and can be found here: [link]
